Your satisfaction is our priority. We strive to deliver exceptional styling services that meet or exceed your expectations. If you are not completely satisfied with our services, please let us know as soon as possible so we can address your concerns.

Our satisfaction guarantee includes:

  • Personalized attention to your styling needs
  • Expert advice based on industry knowledge and experience
  • Clear communication throughout the styling process

If you feel that any of these standards have not been met, please contact us within 7 days of your service, and we will work with you to make it right.

Refund Eligibility

Refunds may be provided in the following circumstances:

Full Refunds

  • Cancellation of your appointment by NexusScholar (except in cases of force majeure)
  • Cancellation by you with more than 7 days' notice before your scheduled appointment
  • Significant service issues where we are unable to deliver the core components of the service as described

Partial Refunds

  • Cancellation by you between 3-7 days before your scheduled appointment (50% refund)
  • Services partially completed due to circumstances within our control
  • Reasonable service dissatisfaction, assessed on a case-by-case basis

No Refunds

  • Cancellation by you with less than 48 hours' notice before your scheduled appointment
  • No-shows for scheduled appointments
  • Services fully delivered as described, but not meeting subjective expectations
  • Styling advice that you choose not to follow
  • Change of mind after the service has been completed

Special circumstances may be considered on a case-by-case basis. We reserve the right to make exceptions to this policy at our discretion, particularly in cases of emergency or extenuating circumstances.

Cancellation Policy

Our cancellation policy is designed to be fair to both our clients and our stylists who reserve time specifically for your appointment:

  • 7+ days before appointment: Full refund of any deposit or prepayment
  • 3-7 days before appointment: 50% refund of any deposit or prepayment
  • 48 hours - 3 days before appointment: Credit toward future services (valid for 6 months)
  • Less than 48 hours before appointment: No refund or credit

To cancel or reschedule an appointment, please contact us as soon as possible via email, phone, or through our online booking system.

Rescheduling

We understand that schedules change. Our rescheduling policy is as follows:

  • Appointments may be rescheduled with at least 48 hours' notice at no additional charge
  • Appointments rescheduled with less than 48 hours' notice may incur a rescheduling fee of £25
  • Each appointment may be rescheduled a maximum of two times
  • Rescheduled appointments must be booked within 3 months of the original appointment date

Service Packages and Deposits

Service Packages

For multi-session service packages:

  • Unused sessions may be refunded on a pro-rata basis, minus a 15% administration fee
  • Refunds are calculated based on the standard (non-package) rate for services already received
  • Package sessions must be used within 12 months of purchase unless otherwise specified

Deposits

For services requiring deposits:

  • Deposits are typically 30% of the total service cost
  • Deposits are subject to the same refund terms as outlined in our cancellation policy
  • Deposits are fully applied to your final service cost

Gift Certificates and Prepaid Services

Gift certificates and prepaid services are subject to the following terms:

  • Gift certificates are non-refundable but are transferable to another person
  • Gift certificates are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase
  • Prepaid services follow our standard cancellation and refund policies
  • Expired gift certificates may be honored at our discretion, potentially with a reactivation fee

Force Majeure

In cases of events beyond our reasonable control (including but not limited to natural disasters, severe weather, public health emergencies, or government restrictions), we may need to cancel or reschedule appointments. In such cases:

  • No cancellation fees will be charged
  • You will have the option to reschedule or receive a full refund
  • We will make every reasonable effort to accommodate your needs

Health and Safety

If you need to cancel due to illness or health concerns:

  • We may waive standard cancellation fees with appropriate documentation
  • We reserve the right to reschedule appointments if a stylist is ill or if there are health and safety concerns

Service Modifications

If we need to modify your service due to unforeseen circumstances:

  • We will notify you as soon as possible
  • We may offer a partial refund if the modified service is of lesser value
  • You will have the option to reschedule if the modifications are not acceptable

Dispute Resolution

If you are dissatisfied with our service or have concerns about a refund decision:
